Private Timothy Noone

 

The background of this man is not known at present.

Timothy Noone enlisted at Cork on 31 May 1917. He was described as being 5' 7¾" tall, with a pale complexion and fair hair. He stated that he was 20 years old, was born at St Finbar's, Cork, and worked as a labourer.

On 2 July 1917 he was posted to the North Irish Horse (No.2586). He was reported to have deserted from the regiment's reserve base at Antrim on 3 August 1917. It is not known if he was subsequentially apprehended.
